Block02 Part18 ~ Painting from Direct Observation #8   

The word is that I did "an outstanding job" with this complex project! I really loved doing this painting. When I look back at where I started with the Proportional Drawing part of this course, I am in awe at how much better I have become with all of the assistance of the instructors. I can hardly believe that I have come this far from Block01 and just learning how to mix Linseed Oil with the paint from the tube, how to use the brush, how to keep the paint in the boxes and later within the edges. 

I really could not have done this well without the help of all the people who work at Evolve Art course. They are kind, but they also push us to do our best work. . . . and in such a kind and gentle manner. 

So many people have said that they didn't know that they could do this, but they have grown and blossomed through the course. I must agree. I would never have believed that painting with oil would become a great art form for me, too.
