Block02 Part19 ~ Painting from Direct Observation #9
For this drawing/painting, I redid a layout that I had tried early on in my learning process from Proportional Drawing #8. Because of the encouragement of the instructors and help, I am so happy that I was able to recreate this in a better manner.
It was fun working to add the design in the pottery that gave the pieces lots of personality and elegance. I did not paint the flowers and leaves that were on the pieces, but am so happy to just create the basic painting. And like the painting with the butter dish, I also want to be able to paint this in color in the future.
After completing, I noticed that the shadow on the teapot under the lid was too wide.
