Block02 Part14  ~ Painting from Direct Observation #4  

This was one of the better paintings and drawings that I have done so far. All of my points were good including measurements, placement, Values, and gradients.

You can see from the Still Life box that I have painted the entire interior with black paint. The black paint is supposed to make the rendering of the photo easier. It seems to have worked with this drawing.

Even though this is a simple Still Life, I am very pleased with how it turned out and the good report I received back from the instructors. There are only six (6) more drawings with paintings left to do, so my goal is to make the most of these lessons to be as perfect as I possibly can.
