Block01 Part01

This is the first lesson in Block01 that is designed to teach the new student how to handle the paint brush, how to mix the oil paint with Linseed Oil, how to work with the paint in small spaces and eventually how to clean the brushes after a session.

One thing that was required was that there be no white spots of canvas showing through the paint. We also were expected to make sharp edges and corners. 

Wow! Hard, hard, hard. It wasn't until after taking the picture that I noticed some white spots. I think the second row of Moderate Light is from paint that isn't flat and not necessarily from canvas showing through. There is one major white spot of canvas in the Extreme Shadow, though.
