Block03 Part01 First Painting and Mixing Colors
This was my first painting using colored oil paints. I had to mix colors to get as close as possible to the color shown in the photo. My painting doesn't look exactly like the color photograph, so there is lots of work for me to do to practice with color mixing.
In our kit, we are given the following oil paints:
o 2 Tubes Naples Yellow Extra 40 ml
o Scheveningen Yellow Light 40ml
o Scheveningen Red Light 40ml
o English Red 40ml
o Madder Crimson Lake Deep Extra 40ml
o Old Holland Yellow-Green 40ml
o Permanent Green Deep 40ml
o Scheveningen Blue Light 40ml
o Ultramarine Blue 40ml
o Burnt Umber 40ml
o Mars Black 40ml
125ml Old Holland Titanium White
These are the basic colors we have to use for mixing.
In review, the Ball is too orange, the pot is not a sharp enough pink.
