Block01 Part15 ~ Bird and Birdhouse

Not one of my better paintings, but it is finished. I'm starting with new paint and pad tomorrow. Sometimes, my values are off, like in this one. The left roof and side were supposed to be Extreme Shadow, and I did Moderate Shadow.

Values are the hardest part for me. I have gone back and watched the teaching video on several of the past lessons. It may just take me a bit for it to all sink into my brain. Still, I can see improvement and am beginning to be able to self evaluate and subsequently correct most errors.
