This is the second time painting these items (in a different layout) so that I can get better with the cup and box. My shadows are made with Black and color.
Red Pot: Moderate Shadow; Shev Red, Ultramarine Blue, Naples Yellow
Purple Box: Extreme Shadow; Ultramarine Blue, Light Blue, Madder, White. The top is made with White and a touch of the color mix.
Orange Lid: Extreme Shadow on top; Moderate Shadow on Left side; Shev Yellow, Shev Red, Naples
Lilac Cup: Moderate Shadow; White with a touch from the purple box, then pushed lighter with Naples and a bit more Ultramarine Blue
(In true time, the cup is more lilac, but the picture shows more pink. I paint from the Still Life Box.)
Thanking the evaluators for all their help. I'm liking color mixing so much more because of their encouraging helps, even though I'm not perfect at it yet.
