Block01 Part05

In this lesson, we learned how to create the gradient on a sphere which is more complex than just creating one on a flat plane. The gradient is wider in the middle of the sphere and narrower on the edges. Here, we also are required to add a gradient at the back edge of the table to create the illusion of depth.

Did much better with both the ridges of paint that like to gather and the gradient. I still see where I can work on the gradient on the ball a little more and some on the right side of the horizon.

My suggestion to anyone who is thinking of taking this course or is already enrolled: follow what Kevin says exactly. As I progress, it is evident that following his 'formula' for learning how to paint with oil makes the work so much easier and more intuitive. Loving this course!
